Passenger Dies in Single Vehicle Crash in Tennille

Washington County Sheriff's Deputies and Emergency Responders were called to the scene of a single vehicle crash on Gilwood Street near Mill Lane in Tennille, Georgia just after 2:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
According to reports, both the driver and passenger of the vehicle involved were 16-year-olds from Wrightsville. They were transported by ambulance to the emergency room following the accident. Unfortunately, the passenger did not survive her injuries.
The Georgia State Patrol was called to investigate the incident further.
No additional information has been released at this time regarding what may have caused the crash or any potential charges that may be filed against the driver involved.
