Fiery crash on I-435 and Truman Road in Kansas City

No one was injured and the road and interstate bridge will not need repairs.
A tractor trailer overturned and caught fire on Interstate 435 and Truman Road in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday morning. Fortunately, the busy interstate bridge was not damaged in the accident, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT). The incident occurred at the end of morning rush hour.
Emergency crews responded to the scene where they found that some road signs and a traffic light pole had been destroyed by the fiery crash. Crews closed part of Truman Road for several hours while they cleared up debris from the accident.
Despite initial concerns about damage to the bridge, MoDOT has confirmed that no repairs will be necessary. Thankfully, no one was injured in this incident.
This serves as a reminder for drivers to exercise caution when driving large vehicles on busy roads. Accidents can happen quickly and have serious consequences.
