A MoDOT driver was killed in a single vehicle rollover crash in Mount Vernon, Missouri. The driver, identified as Charles E. Toler, was operating a MoDOT oil tanker when it left the road and overturned. The incident resulted in a fatality and the spillage of oil, which was contained by Bieller Wrecker Service.
A tractor trailer overturned and caught fire on I-435 and Truman Road in Kansas City. No one was injured in the crash and the interstate bridge did not sustain any damage.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, a crane being hauled underneath the I-44 bridge around 1:30 PM Tuesday had its boom extended, causing it to strike girders under the interstate.
