Four Injured in Clark County Crash
Four people were injured after a crash in Bethel Township, Clark County on Saturday afternoon. The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Springfield Post received reports of the accident at around 12:31 p.m. According to an OSHP spokesperson, "a preliminary investigation found a 1992 Chevrolet pickup truck and Honda Accord were parked off the side of the road when a 2023 Toyota Camry struck the rear end of the Accord, which went into the truck."
One of the occupants from the truck was outside retrieving a wheelchair from its bed when he got pinned between both vehicles. Medics freed him and transported him to hospital via CareFlight for serious injuries.
Another passenger from the pickup truck was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while both drivers for both cars involved suffered non-serious injuries as well.
The crash remains under investigation by authorities.
