Fremont Woman Judith K. Rapp Dies in Single Car Crash in Sandusky Township

A 67-year-old woman from Fremont, Ohio died in a single-car crash on Monday morning. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred at around 6:05 a.m. on US 6 near mile post 17 in Sandusky Township.
According to investigators, Judith K. Rapp was driving her 2008 Chevrolet Uplander westbound when she crossed the center median and entered the eastbound lanes of traffic before veering off the southside of the roadway. Her car hit a fence row, a utility pole, and then landed in a ditch.
Rapp was pronounced dead at the scene and taken to Lucas County Morgue for further investigation. The cause of this fatal accident is still under investigation by authorities.
