Hawaii Governor Josh Green, a former emergency room physician, has once again responded to a roadside emergency. On Thursday, he assisted a man who fell from the bed of a pickup truck while traveling in Kauai.
According to the governor's spokesperson, Makana McClellan, "a man sitting on a chair in the back of a pickup truck in front of the governor’s vehicle was thrown from the truck." Gov. Green immediately stopped and provided assistance to the injured individual.
This marks the second time in just three weeks that Gov. Green has responded to such an incident. Earlier this month, he helped at the scene of another accident on Maui.
As an experienced medical professional and public servant, Gov. Green's quick response highlights his commitment to serving and protecting all residents and visitors of Hawaii.
