Two Killed in Head-On Crash on I-55 in Wilmington

Two people were killed in a head-on crash on I-55 in Wilmington, Illinois. The crash occurred when a Ford F-150 driving north in the southbound lanes collided with a GMC Yukon. The Yukon was then hit by a semi-trailer. The driver and a passenger in the Yukon died at the scene, while three children and the driver of the Ford were injured.
