One Dead, Another Injured in Lorain Vehicle Crash

An investigation is underway following a fatal vehicle crash that occurred on Saturday night in Lorain, Ohio. According to the police report, one man died and another was seriously injured as a result of the accident.

The authorities were called to Rossi Way and Kolbe Road at around 10:35 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash. Upon arrival, they found a severely damaged 2005 Dodge Neon with two occupants inside. The passenger, identified as a 28-year-old from Lorain, had to be extracted from the car by the Lorain Fire Department before being life-flighted to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland for treatment.

Meanwhile, the driver - a 23-year-old resident of Vermilion - was taken to UH Elyria Medical Center for medical attention. Unfortunately, despite efforts made by medical professionals, the passenger later succumbed to his injuries and passed away.

After conducting an initial investigation into the incident, law enforcement officials believe that the driver lost control of the car while going around a bend. This caused their vehicle to drift towards the right side of the road before hitting a culvert and flipping over. It eventually landed right-side-up in someone's front yard on Kolbe Road.
