Fatal Motorcycle Collision with Fire Truck in Memphis

A tragic accident occurred in Whitehaven, Memphis, resulting in the death of a man after his motorcycle collided with a fire truck. The incident took place shortly before 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of E. Holmes Road and Waldrup Street.
According to authorities from the Memphis Police Department (MPD), both a fire engine and a motorcycle were involved in the collision. Following the crash, emergency services rushed to the scene and transported the motorcyclist to St. Francis - Park hospital in critical condition.
Sadly, despite efforts to save his life, medical professionals later pronounced him dead at the hospital. At this time, no details have been released regarding what caused this devastating accident.
The MPD has initiated an investigation into the incident and is actively working to determine all factors contributing to this tragedy. As such, further information will be provided as it becomes available.
