Motorcycle Rider Brandon Slone Injured in Collision with Pickup Truck

Brandon Slone was transported by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital. The severity of his injuries is not known at this time.
A man has been hospitalized after a motorcycle crash in Clark County on Friday evening. The accident occurred at around 7:27 p.m. in the 600 block of Home Road, Springfield Township. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, both state troopers and medics were dispatched to the scene.
The preliminary investigation reveals that a pickup truck and a motorcycle were involved in the crash. Luke Spracklen, aged 19 from South Solon was driving westbound on Home Road while Brandon Slone, aged 25 of Urbana was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Home Road when the truck turned onto Westchester Park Drive and collided with Slone's bike.
Slone suffered severe injuries as a result of the collision and had to be transported by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment. At this time, it is unclear how serious his injuries are.
Spracklen escaped unharmed during the incident; however, Home Road remained closed for approximately three hours following the accident while authorities conducted their investigations into what caused it.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues its investigation into this tragic event that left one person injured and another shaken up but thankfully uninjured.
