Mark Prindel Dies in Vehicle Accident in Wattsburg

Mark Prindel died from blunt force trauma.
A motorcycle driver who was involved in an accident on Saturday afternoon has been identified. The victim, Mark Prindel, 53, died from blunt force trauma after colliding with a pickup truck along Route 89 near the Erie County Fair Grounds in the Borough of Wattsburg.
Pennsylvania State Police were called to the scene around 1:15 p.m. on June 17th and found Prindel severely injured. A life-flight helicopter was immediately called to airlift him from the scene to UPMC Hamot for treatment but he later succumbed to his injuries.
The cause of the accident is still unknown and there is no word yet on the condition of the truck driver involved in this tragic incident.
Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook confirmed that Prindel's death was caused by blunt force trauma sustained during the collision. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time as they come to terms with their loss.
