A 60-year-old semi-truck driver is facing charges for hitting two motorcyclists while high in Albuquerque. The victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The driver allegedly admitted to using prescribed medications and tested positive for cocaine.
A motorcycle rider is in critical condition after colliding with a semi-truck in northeast Albuquerque. The crash occurred on Carlisle, near Claremont. Albuquerque police are investigating the incident.
University of New Mexico police said a stolen truck crashed into two other vehicles before colliding with a cinderblock wall outside of the Vitalant on University Blvd. Two people were injured and taken to the hospital. Police found burglary tools and a catalytic converter in the truck.
