The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that a Missouri Department of Transportation truck ran off the road on Tuesday morning, May 30th. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident which occurred on eastbound Highway 36 west of Chillicothe near the Grand River.
According to reports, a tire blew out on the truck before it went off the road. The driver's identity has not been released by Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox.
This incident serves as a reminder for all drivers to regularly check their vehicle's tires and ensure they are properly inflated and maintained to prevent accidents like this from occurring.
