Andrew Moore Killed in Coldwater SUV Accident

Andrew Moore was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
A man has died after being hit by an SUV on a highway in southwest Kansas. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at around 2:45 a.m. on Thursday when Andrew Moore, a 45-year-old from Hutchinson, stepped out in front of a southbound Chevy Suburban on U.S. 83 just south of the Comanche-Kiowa county line.
Moore was walking down the middle of the roadway when he was struck by the vehicle. He was taken to a local hospital where he later passed away due to his injuries sustained during the incident.
The driver and passenger of the SUV were unharmed during this event. It remains unclear why Moore was walking down the middle of U.S. 83 at that time.
