Comedian Pete Davidson, known for his work on "Saturday Night Live," has been charged with reckless driving in connection to a car crash that occurred earlier this year. The incident took place on March 4th at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Elevado Avenue in Beverly Hills.

Davidson was traveling with a female passenger, rumored girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders, when their dark Mercedes-Benz sedan struck a fire hydrant. While no one was seriously injured as a result of the collision, preliminary investigators believe speed may have been a factor.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office issued an emailed statement saying: "We believe that Mr. Davidson engaged in reckless driving, which ultimately resulted in his involvement in a serious collision into a home."
