Semi-Truck Crash in Hudsonville Leaves Driver Injured

According to a news release from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, a semi-truck carrying two forklifts drove off I-196 and crashed onto 32nd Avenue in Hudsonville on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred around 10:20 a.m., leaving the driver injured but in stable condition.
The truck was heading westbound on I-196 when it went off the roadway and became airborne before landing on 32nd Avenue. Authorities are still investigating what caused the crash.
Local residents expressed their shock at the incident, with one witness stating that they heard a loud noise before seeing debris scattered across the road.
Emergency services were quick to respond to the scene, with police officers and firefighters working together to clear up debris and ensure public safety. Traffic was diverted away from the area while investigations took place.
