A semi-truck driver was hospitalized in Fillmore Township, Michigan after being hit by a train. The driver, a 27-year-old Minnesota man, was thrown from the vehicle and injured. The incident is currently under investigation by the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office.
A gas delivery truck leaked up to 250 gallons of gas after being hit by another vehicle in Battle Creek. Nobody was hurt, but the truck’s delivery hose and valve were damaged and began to leak fuel. Firefighters hit the emergency shut-off and called for a hazmat response, since the water-fuel mixture was running into storm drains.
