30-year-old Milan Patel killed in single-car accident in Huron County

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal car accident that occurred in Huron County early Tuesday morning. According to officials, the crash happened on State Route 61 in Greenfield Township.
The victim, was identified as Milan Patel. Patel was driving a white Toyota Camry that travelled off the right side of SR 61 around 4:39 a.m. Patel's vehicle struck a ditch, traffic sign and tree before coming to a stop.
Unfortunately, Patel was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, and did not survive the accident.
Patel was alone in his car during the incident and it remains unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in this tragedy.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate this single-car accident as they work towards determining what caused this devastating loss of life.
