Indiana State Trooper Aaron N. Smith Killed in Pursuit of Stolen Car

Indiana State Trooper Aaron N. Smith was killed during a police pursuit of a stolen car in Indianapolis. Smith, who was trying to deescalate the pursuit, was struck by the car and later died from his injuries. The suspect driver and two passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Stolen Car, Cement Truck Injures Two in Kansas City

A multi-vehicle crash involving a stolen car, box truck, cement truck, Honda, and SUV shut down I-670 highway in Kansas City. The driver of the stolen car ran, while the driver of the cement truck was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Both directions of Interstate 670 were closed for investigation and clean-up.
