Three Injured in Lucasville Car Crash

Three people were seriously injured and life-flighted to Grant Medical Center.
Three people were seriously injured and life-flighted to a hospital in Columbus after their car crashed into a bridge on the side of a highway in Scioto County, Ohio. The accident occurred around 11 p.m. on Saturday when the driver of a 2012 Toyota Camry lost control while driving southbound on U.S. Route 23 near State Route 823.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, "the driver then overcorrected, jerking the steering wheel to the right, and crashed into a bridge and guardrail." The three occupants of the vehicle were transported first to Southern Ohio Medical Center with serious injuries before being transferred by helicopter to Grant Medical Center.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. No further details have been released at this time.
