Two Occupants Injured in Newburg Pickup Truck Collision

Both occupants were transported to Charles Regional Medical Center to be treated for injuries.
Police and rescue personnel responded to a motor vehicle collision on Crain Highway in the area of Budds Creek Rd in Newburg, Maryland on April 22, 2023, at approximately 2:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a pickup truck overturned in the median. It was reported that two occupants were trapped in the vehicle. The rescue team worked to extricate both occupants out of the pickup truck.
"EMS transported both patients to Charles Regional Medical Center to be treated for injuries," said a spokesperson for the Newburg Police Department.
The identities and conditions of the occupants have not been released at this time. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
"We will provide updates as they become available," added the spokesperson.
