Two Sisters Killed in Uber Crash in Westmont

Two sisters were tragically killed in a crash while riding in an Uber in Westmont, Los Angeles County. The incident occurred early Saturday morning at the intersection of Vermont Avenue and Century Boulevard. The sisters, Kimberly Izquierdo and Veronica Amezola, were leaving a concert when another driver ran a red light and collided with their rideshare driver.
