A Goldsboro man was killed after being hit by two vehicles while trying to cross a street Wednesday night. Goldsboro police said they responded to a traffic crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of North Berkeley Boulevard and Caudill Avenue.
One person is dead after a motorcycle crash in Fayetteville. Luther Tyner collided with a pickup truck while riding his 2020 Harley Davidson motorcycle, resulting in his death. Shanna Throckmorton, the passenger on Tyner's motorcycle, is in stable condition.
A 12-year-old boy was tragically killed by a suspected drunk driver in Oceanside. The incident occurred on Tuesday night when a White Volkswagen GTI collided with a Blue Nissan Altima. The boy was a passenger in the Altima and sadly lost his life in the collision. The driver of the Volkswagen has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and gross vehicular manslaughter.
An elderly man was struck and killed by a driver in South St. Paul early Tuesday. The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.
A 38-year-old Jennings woman died Monday after her car overturned near State Road 6 in Hamilton County. The woman was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car during the crash. A 35-year-old Gainesville man riding with her was also ejected during the wreck.
