Accident articles related to Fireworks
A man in Wilmington was hit and killed by an SUV while lighting fireworks near a shopping center parking lot. The victim, a 36-year-old man, was dragged under the SUV before being hit by a second vehicle. The SUV driver fled the scene.
A two-car crash closed the intersection of West Bypass and Republic Road Friday evening after one of the cars caught fire. The van burst into flames, authorities soon found out the van was carrying fireworks. The driver of the van did get out and was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
