The incident occurred late Thursday night when a vehicle driving south hit the patrol car that was pulled over for a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle that hit the patrol car, Jeffrey Ingles, is facing several charges including OWI and driving while revoked.
A person died in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Clinton County, Iowa. The incident occurred on Monday evening. The driver of the motorcycle succumbed to the injuries sustained from the accident.
An Illinois 23-year-old is in critical condition after rear-ending farm equipment on Highway 151 in Dubuque County. The crash occurred on April 17 and both vehicles were badly damaged. The 23-year-old was airlifted to the hospital in Iowa City.
Chad Morman, a teacher at Perry High School, died in a car crash on Saturday night. Morman was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
