Honolulu EMS responded to a traffic accident involving a 17-year-old male on Hihimano Street in Waimanalo. The driver was transported to a local area trauma hospital in serious condition.
A 62-year-old Lahaina man died after colliding with a Toyota Tacoma while riding his electric bike. The driver of the truck remained on the scene and speed was not a factor in the collision. This is the sixth traffic fatality in Maui County for 2023.

A woman is in serious condition after a car drove off a ledge and landed on a home’s roof in Nuuanu, Sunday. The driver was recognized by a neighbor who witnessed the incident. The car was safely extricated and the patient was awake and talking.
A two-car accident occurred in Makiki on Sunday afternoon. One car rolled over at the intersection of Piikoi Street and Hassinger Street. Both drivers are in stable condition.
