The driver of a 2022 Dodge RAM swerved right and smashed into the guardrail, resulting in the truck overturning and the driver being ejected. A 43-year-old man from Orlando was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 21-year-old passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Five teenagers were killed in a car accident in Fort Myers, Florida. The victims were identified as Eric Paul, Jackson Eyre, Amanda Ferguson, Breanna Coleman, and Jesus Salinas. The teenagers had just finished their Sunday night shifts at Texas Roadhouse and were on their way to get fast food when the accident occurred.
A man is on the run after flipping his truck during a police chase on I-275 in St. Petersburg, Florida. The chase ended when the truck crashed and overturned at Gandy Boulevard and I-275. Police are still searching for the driver.
