Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the driver of a white car that struck and killed pedestrian Tomas Juarez-Sunun in Madison. Juarez-Sunun was running across the roadway when he was hit and the driver fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call Nashville Crime Stoppers.
A Texas state trooper was hit by a vehicle and ended up pinned in between cars while assisting a drunk driver stuck in the middle of I-10. The driver who crashed into the officer died. The trooper sustained lacerations to his face.
Two people were killed and another person critically injured in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 295 in Falmouth, Maine. Nancy Ezhaya and Allen Apblett died in the collision. Apblett's wife was also seriously injured in the crash.

Brown was skateboarding along Merrimon Avenue when he entered the intersection with Marcellus Street despite having a red light and was hit by an oncoming Republic solid waste collection truck. The victim then fell into the roadway where he was hit by another car.

Clemson student Michael Lee Lyon III is no longer facing a DUI charge in connection to a crash that killed Robert Barrett. The charge was dropped due to a lack of evidence to support a conviction. Lyon was arrested after police noticed a strong marijuana odor coming from him and the vehicle he was driving.
