New York Man Kaysohn T. Baker Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-59 in Fort Payne

Kaysohn T. Baker of West Hempstead, New York, died in a two-vehicle crash on I-59 in Fort Payne, Alabama. The crash occurred when the 2025 International Durastar Baker was a passenger in left the roadway and struck a parked 2017 Peterbilt tractor-trailer. The driver of the Peterbilt was transported to the DeKalb Regional Medical Center for injuries sustained in the crash while the driver of the Durastar was transported to Erlanger Hospital.

Jim Tweto, a noted bush pilot and member of the reality show “Flying Wild Alaska,” has died in a plane crash in Alaska. Tweto, 68, was identified as the pilot, while his passenger was identified as hunting and fishing guide Shane Reynolds, 45, of Orofino, Idaho.

Actor Treat Williams dies in Vermont motorcycle accident

Actor Treat Williams, known for his roles in ‘Everwood,’ ‘Hair,’ and countless other films and TV shows, has died after being struck while riding a motorcycle in Vermont. Williams was unable to avoid the crash and was thrown from the motorcycle, police said. He was pronounced dead at an Albany, New York hospital.

Four People Killed in Cessna 560 Citation V Business Jet Crash in Virginia

A Cessna 560 Citation V business jet crashed in mountainous terrain near Montebello, Virginia, killing all four people on board. The jet suffered a rapid spiraling descent and at one point dropped at a rate of more than 30,000 feet per minute. F-16s were scrambled to investigate which led to a sonic boom that was heard over the D.C. area Sunday afternoon.

North Carolina Political Strategist Conen Morgan Dies in Boating Accident

Conen Morgan, president of Longleaf Agency and a North Carolina State University graduate, died in a boating accident off the coast of Shackleford Banks. Morgan's clients included U.S. Reps. Alma Adams and Valerie Foushee and Durham Mayor Elaine O’Neal. The investigation is being handled by National Park Service rangers in conjunction with the U.S. Coast Guard and N.C. Wildlife.

William "Tex" Titterington, a Clearwater City Council member, died in a head-on crash near Caldwell. A man driving a truck crashed head-on into Titterington's Corvette. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
