Traci Slater, 35, of Hesston, died in a single-vehicle accident Sunday evening southeast of Hesston. The vehicle went off the roadway, entered the ditch and rolled. The accident remains under investigation.

Brandon Bumgarner, 26, of Topeka, died in a car crash with a truck in Shawnee County, Kansas. Bumgarner failed to clear a stop sign and pulled out in front of the truck, resulting in a fatal collision.
A car accident in South Wichita has left a 27-year-old man critically hurt. The accident occurred just after 10:00 p.m. in the 2300 block of E. MacArthur. Officers and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene and discovered the victim with life-threatening injuries.
A Missouri woman, Violet Knowles, was killed in a car accident in Cherokee County, Kansas after her car was hit by a truck driven by 18-year-old Skylar Cauble. Knowles was pronounced dead at the scene.

55-year-old Jerry Parks of Goddard, KS was fatally injured in a collision with a vehicle in Wichita. Parks collided with a Ford Mustang while riding his bicycle on West Taft Street. The investigation is ongoing.

Jason E. Sedin, 46, of Henderson, Nev., died in a rollover accident in Overland Park. Sedin was driving a 2008 Ford F250 when it veered to the right, drove through the grassy gore area, and crashed into the right ditch where it hit an embankment causing it to roll. He was taken to the University of Kansas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries but was pronounced dead.
