Joshua Schiano, 23, has been charged with second-degree manslaughter, second-degree vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal vehicle accident after hitting Madison Faltisco, 22, in a hit-and-run in Clay. Schiano was involved in a second crash about a mile away on the same road. Faltisco's body was discovered about seven hours later.

The 22-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to her hand, a non-life-threatening injury. The driver of the car, a 34-year-old man, was hit several times, suffering wounds to his face and arm.
Michael Downing, 68, of New Haven died in a car crash on Sunday night. Downing's car left the road and crashed into some trees. The accident is still under investigation.
Liam McGuire, a 16-year-old student at Fayetteville-Manlius High School, died after falling off a skateboard and sustaining head injuries. McGuire was holding onto the back of a 2010 Subaru Impreza while on his skateboard when he fell and injured his head. The driver of the car stopped and called 911, and McGuire was taken to the pediatric intensive care unit at Upstate University Hospital.
A Fulton high school student was killed in a crash that also injured another student Sunday night in Granby, N.Y. The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the fatal crash. Fulton City School Superintendent Brian Pulvino sent a message to the community, offering support for students and staff.
