Eddie Bentrum, 35, of Lamar, Ark., was pronounced dead on the scene after his motorcycle crashed head-on with a GMC Sierra driven by a 22-year-old Grovehill man. The crash occurred on Alabama 114 in Pennington city limits.

William Romanowski was driving a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup when his truck left the roadway and hit a tree, leaving him critically injured. He later died from his injuries at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City.

Kaysohn T. Baker of West Hempstead, New York, died in a two-vehicle crash on I-59 in Fort Payne, Alabama. The crash occurred when the 2025 International Durastar Baker was a passenger in left the roadway and struck a parked 2017 Peterbilt tractor-trailer. The driver of the Peterbilt was transported to the DeKalb Regional Medical Center for injuries sustained in the crash while the driver of the Durastar was transported to Erlanger Hospital.
Jeanna Speegle, the wife of CFO Tim Speegle, has passed away in the deadly Baldwin Beach Express wreck. David Arthur Colburn has been charged with a DUI and three counts of manslaughter. The Poarch Band of Creek Indians released a statement mourning the loss of Tim and Jeanna.
