A man is dead and a 10-year-old girl is in the hospital after two semi-trucks crashed on I-75 in Gainesville. The 55-year-old man was trapped in the semi and had to be extracted from the vehicle using hydraulic tools and was transported to a local trauma center where he later died. The 10-year-old girl was able to exit the vehicle under their own power and was transported to the hospital.

Jason E. Sedin, 46, of Henderson, Nev., died in a rollover accident in Overland Park. Sedin was driving a 2008 Ford F250 when it veered to the right, drove through the grassy gore area, and crashed into the right ditch where it hit an embankment causing it to roll. He was taken to the University of Kansas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries but was pronounced dead.

A 57-year-old Wishek man died in a crash Thursday morning on Highway 13 in Logan County when the concrete truck he was driving rolled over. The loaded concrete truck’s left steer tire blew and the truck rolled over into the ditch. The driver was thrown from the truck.
