Three people were killed in a four-car wreck near Childress, Texas. Bradley Nevil, Sheri Nevil, and Patrick Scrivener were pronounced dead on the scene. The incident occurred on June 1 when a Perryton resident failed to control speed and struck Scrivener’s Ford Escape causing a chain reaction.
An overturned 18-wheeler involving three vehicles, including the heavy truck, closed several eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway at Wood Road in Waller County Friday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
A U-Haul truck crashed into a tanker truck causing a hazmat spill on the I-45 North Freeway in Houston. A man, a woman, and their cat were in the U-Haul at the time of the crash. They were taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
A motorcyclist died after crashing into a pickup truck on the Southwest Side of San Antonio. The pickup truck driver did not see the motorcycle and no charges are expected. No other injuries were reported.
Two people were killed in a Thursday morning crash on a rural Falls County Highway. The Department of Public Safety tells FOX 44 News that a trooper was dispatched to the scene on Highway 53, northwest of Rosebud, at 6:48 a.m.
Two men died in a fatal crash involving a Mustang and a tractor trailer in La Joya, Texas. The Mustang was travelling northbound and struck the tractor trailer on its side. The case remains under investigation.
An off-duty police officer was hit by a vehicle while conducting traffic control in Horizon City, Texas. The officer and driver were transported to a hospital for medical evaluation. Lanes will remain closed for several hours.
Two people are dead and nine others are injured after a five-car crash in Longview on Monday afternoon. The driver of the Chevrolet Sonic, identified as Callie Bearden, 19 of Longview, was taken to a local hospital where she later died of her injuries. Shelby Partain, 32, a passenger of a separate car, was taken to a local hospital where she died of her injuries.
A Texas state trooper was hit by a vehicle and ended up pinned in between cars while assisting a drunk driver stuck in the middle of I-10. The driver who crashed into the officer died. The trooper sustained lacerations to his face.
A 20-year-old woman identified as Ashley Anglin died in a two-vehicle accident in College Station. The accident involved a motorcycle and another vehicle. Police officers responded to the scene and Anglin was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
