Justin Estira, a student at Willow Glen High School, was struck and killed by a vehicle while walking near his apartment complex. The California Highway Patrol says the driver of a 2008 Kia was heading southbound on the highway south of Constellation Road just before 6 a.m. when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed into the northbound lanes of traffic and collided with a 2017 Chevy.
A 17-year-old girl died in a crash on her way home from her boyfriend's graduation. The crash occurred around 9 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Winchester and Keller roads in an unincorporated area of Riverside County. Two others were flown to the hospital with major injuries.
