A two-car crash in Massapequa on Thursday night left one person in critical condition. The crash occurred when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Joludow Drive. The 74-year-old male sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Jennifer Corado, of Clay, was walking in a crosswalk on Oswego Road and Pine Hollow Road when a Jeep Wrangler hit her. As of Thursday, she remains in critical condition.
Robert Norton, a 27-year old Liverpool native, was arrested following a car chase with New York State Police on State Route 31. Norton ended up crashing his vehicle twice before he was apprehended and arrested by NYSP.
A man lost control of his Mercedes and hit a utility pole, parked car, and two homes on Harvey Avenue in Oceanside on Long Island. The driver of the car and his passenger were hospitalized, and the people inside the two homes were not injured.
A drugged driver hit two cars on Route 11 in Tully, injuring three people. 72-year-old George Frary is in serious condition, while 49-year-old Jeremy Frary and 68-year-old Melody-Frary have minor injuries. The driver has been charged with Driving with Ability Impaired by Drugs.
A woman is in critical condition after being struck by a car in the Town of Clay Wednesday night. The incident occurred on Route 57 and Pine Hollow, across from the Seneca Mall. The woman has been transported to Upstate Hospital and is in critical condition.
