A Cortlandt Manor man died after the SUV he was driving hit a utility pole and overturned on Route 301 in Carmel. The operator Andrew Pesavento, 35, was found unconscious and unresponsive at the scene and appeared to have sustained major internal injuries. Pesavento was then taken to Putnam Hospital Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Two people have been hospitalized with serious injuries after a motorcycle-pickup truck accident in Windsor, NY. Cody Beavers and Megan Monteforte were ejected from the motorcycle and flown to UHS Wilson Medical Hospital. Beavers was driving an unregistered and uninsured motorcycle without a license.
